Week 3
Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 11:14AM DAY FIFTEEN - Friday, November 21, 2008
I am finding as I get more and more into the colon cleanse that I have remained on a nice schedule of going to the bathroom each morning, usually 30 minutes after having my breakfast. I am enjoying more energy throughout the day. AND the big thing for me is that I am sleeping so much better. I have no rhyme or reason for this but all I know is that it has been rare for the past two weeks for me to wake up in the middle of the night with insomnia!
Because I am not experiencing regular insomnia, I am figuring that this is a main reason behind having more energy throughout my day. Whatever the case may be, I am glad that I chose to do this 15 to 30-day cleanse.
Tomorrow I will start with the Parasite Defense. Kind of wondering what I'll notice if anything when I go to the bathroom after being on this supplement for a few days. I have also decided to add an acai berry supplement to my regime. I have heard and read wonderful things about the acai fruit. I usually have blueberries in my breakfast cereal or drink an acai fruit smoothie every morning. You can read my findings on the acai berry here in my blog.
Stay tuned.........................
DAY SIXTEEN - Saturday, November 22, 2008
I have enough of the colon cleanse powder to last me a few more days, so I decided that I am going to keep taking the powder at least until Tuesday. I have family in town and with the entertaining comes a little more eating. Because of this, I want to stay on the colon cleanse to help with keeping me regular until my guests head back home.
This means that I will remain on the colon cleanse powder until mid-week and then begin the Parasite Defense.
DAY SEVENTEEN - Sunday, November 23, 2008
Sunday is a favorite day around our home. Everyone relaxes and many times, the boys and me will never even get out of our PJ's! Today is extra special because it's our youngest son's 14th birthday and my parents flew in to surprise him for his birthday!
Every Sunday I also prepare a brunch so we only eat two meals on Sunday. I make a huge brunch which consists of coffee, homemade waffles, scramble eggs, grits and bacon! (This is why my husband and I only eat twice!)

Of course, within 20 minutes, I was in the bathroom. Okay, it dawned on me while I was sitting there doing my thing, I realized that I hadn't taken my Cleanse Support the night before. I have decided that this makes going to the bathroom a much "smoother and easier" run!
When you purchase your Colon Cleanse powder, I highly recommend adding the Cleanse Support to your order! When taking the Cleanse Support, things happen so effortlessly that everything just glides out and you don't have time to read an article while sitting there!
DAY EIGHTEEN - Monday, November 24, 2008
Stressful day for me today. We are doing Thanksgiving early and having our dinner tonight since my parents will be flying back home tomorrow.
Had my colon cleanse drink this morning. When I went to the bathroom, it is still pretty amazing to me the stuff that is coming out of my body! I am glad I decided to remain on the colon cleanse until I finished the powder. There obviously is more than a 15-day supply in the container so that's nice to know.
Sat down to have our traditional meal; turkey with all the additional side dishes that weren't really necessary but cooked anyway! I didn't eat as much as I normally do but I still paid for it. About an hour after I ate, I felt MISERABLE! So bad that I laid down and fell asleep for a while.
Woke back up around 11:00 p.m. and couldn't fall back asleep so I decided to watch a little TV and drink another colon cleanse before finally going back to bed at 3:30 a.m.
DAY NINETEEN - Tuesday, November 25, 2008
Not much to report today. I only drank one colon cleanse drink, starting to back off of it and will begin the Parasite Defense tomorrow.
DAY TWENTY - Wednesday, November 26, 2008
I was having massive gas again late last night and was entertaining the dogs! Went to bed around midnight and was up at 4:00 a.m. and had to have a BM. Haven't done that the entire time I have been on this colon cleanse.
I attribute that to my body trying to rid itself of all the food that I ate on Monday. It's not that it was bad food but I certainly haven't eaten that heavy since starting this cleanse. It really has me noticing what I am eating and putting into my body a lot more. The thought of heavy foods just doesn't appeal to me any longer.
Had a Colon Cleanse drink before breakfast and an hour later I took my first Parasite Defense.
Here is a little bit of information you may want to read regarding parasites and humans:
"Native Americans knew that humans are plagued by parasites. Other native peoples, from the Arctic to the Antarctic, also knew that humans, like animals, have parasites. Parasitic infections arise from the intrusion worms that live in the intestinal tract of the body. Worm parasites are more common than most people expect, and they are listed as The Center for Disease Control's #1 Health Risk. According to numerous studies, nearly 85% of Americans have parasites in their bodies."
You can read my "Day Twelve" to read how you can pick them up simply by walking barefoot!

DAY TWENTY ONE - Thursday, November 27, 2008
Happy Thanksgiving!
On my second day of the Parasite Defense. These pills are going to get more interesting to take as the days go on. Day One, you only take one pill but from then on you add another pill until you are taking seven pills from Day 6-15.
I have to be honest here, I am not against taking pills but seven at one time is a bit much. I am putting myself in the mindset that it's only for 7 days and I'm doing a good thing for my body!
I prepared a ham for dinner today since we had our turkey on Monday when our company was in town. I ate MUCH lighter today and I find that I am paying particular attention to stop eating when I feel satisfied, not stuffed like a turkey! I felt great the rest of the evening compared to how I felt after Monday's dinner.
For those of you wanting to know how I'm doing weight-wise, I have lost 6 pounds so far! I am absolutely thrilled with this because of all the medical issues I have, losing weight is a huge struggle for me. So 6 pounds is fantastic and it motivates me to keep walking and doing my Wii Fit!
Because it's Thanksgiving, I would like to end this day's entry with one of my favorite stories that I share with my many friends. It's called the Thank-U-Gram.
The Thank-U-Gram
Look for the good in life and you will find it. That may seem like a cliche these days, but it is just as true now as it ever was.
One man who believed it was Edward L. Kramer of St. Louis, Missouri. Back in 1948 Kramer sought to teach this principle to his three children.
He asked them to deliberately look each day for the good in at least three people, people to whom they could be thankful. "It can be in your playmates, your teachers -- anyone with whom you come in contact," he told them.
Each evening, after dinner, Kramer would sit down with his children and ask them for an accounting of the good they had found in people that day. Then postcards expressing their appreciation were mailed to those individuals.
At first the children found the job difficult. But as they began to train themselves to look for acts of kindness, trust, and generosity, they found it easier and easier to do.
After a time their thoughtfulness, their gratitude, was returned to them tenfold in the warmth and thankfulness of the people who received the cards. The family found themselves mailing so many they designed their own card. It was patterned after the yellow telegram of Western Union. They called it a Thank-U-Gram.
During the next 15 years or so, Kramer supplied people all over the country with millions of Thank-U-Grams. Such diverse people as President Eisenhower, Robert Frost, Bob Hope, Walt Disney, Henry Ford II, Jack Benny, and thousands upon thousands of others, both great and small, used Kramer's Thank-U-Grams--an idea that grew out of a father's desire to teach his children a moral principle about life.
For those of you who don't know me, I am a huge card sender. Over a year ago, I happen to learn about a fairly new online site called SendOutCards. I fell in love with their concept and decided to incorporate their philosophy into my daily life.
Because you have been so kind to follow my progress with my colon cleanse, I would like to thank YOU by gifting you with sending a card to someone you care about. There is NO cost involved to you. It's FREE, NO-STRINGS-ATTACHED for you to send this card. Just choose a card, type in your own message, add the person's physical address and click on the "Send" button! That's it!
Visit my personal site, click on the banner and an audio will begin shortly after clicking on the banner. This audio will personally walk you through sending that card.
Think of someone you would like to thank and send them a card. Takes 8-10 minutes from start to "SEND!"
Send someone a Thank-U-Gram today!
